WHY TROVELLE

What Makes Our Approach Different

Gentle, Unhurried Pace

Sessions move at your family's own rhythm. There is no pressure, no checklist to rush through, and no judgement on where you are in the process.

Clear Scope, Honest Boundaries

We are organisers and educators, not legal or financial advisers. We always signpost participants to the right qualified professionals and official bodies for their individual needs.

Community-Supported Learning

Our peer community offers a safe space to share questions and reflections with others who are on a similar journey — without the isolation that often surrounds these conversations.

Practical Organising Tools

Participants leave each session with tangible outputs — a folder template, an inventory document, or a set of reflection prompts they can keep and return to at any time.

Bangkok-Based & Culturally Attuned

Rooted in Bangkok's international community, our facilitators understand the particular complexity of families who span multiple countries, languages, and legal systems.

Facilitating Conversations, Not Decisions

Our role is to open the door to family conversations that might otherwise feel too weighty to start. We create the conditions — participants guide the direction.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly do your workshops cover? +

Our workshops are general educational sessions. We explore how families can collect and organise important information — where documents are kept, how family stories can be recorded, and how to create one clear folder of useful references. We do not provide legal or financial advice, and all personal arrangements should be discussed with a qualified professional.

Is this suitable for expatriate families in Bangkok? +

Yes, absolutely. Many of our participants are international families with ties to multiple countries. Our facilitation is in English and we are familiar with the particular complexity that comes with cross-border family situations — though we always refer specific legal or financial questions to the appropriate professionals in the relevant jurisdictions.

Do I need to bring any documents to the workshop? +

There is no requirement to bring any documents at all. The Rediscovery Workshop focuses on reflection and conversation. If you choose the Treasured Items Inventory service, we will discuss in advance what is most useful to have accessible — but even then, we work at your pace and comfort level.

How long does a typical session take? +

The Rediscovery Workshop runs for approximately two to three hours. Inventory sessions vary depending on the scope of belongings and typically take between three and five hours, sometimes across more than one visit. Discovery Membership sessions are monthly gatherings of around ninety minutes each.

What is the Discovery Membership, and who is it for? +

The Discovery Membership is an annual subscription giving access to monthly facilitated group sessions, a library of organising guides, and our peer community. It suits individuals who want ongoing support, community connection, and gradual progress — rather than a single one-off session. It is open to anyone, regardless of whether they have attended a workshop before.

Will you draft documents or give me advice on what to do with my estate? +

No. Trovelle does not draft documents, provide legal advice, prepare estate plans, or advise on personal financial arrangements. We are an educational and organising service. For those matters, we are happy to signpost you toward appropriate Thai and international professionals and official bodies.

How do I pay, and is the fee refundable? +

Payment details and our cancellation policy are shared at the time of booking. Please contact us directly or review our Terms & Conditions for full information. We aim to be fair and transparent in all arrangements.
